General introduction to welding
Bonding – the process of joining construction materials and processes related to bonding. Bonding processes vary state of matter of the base materials and weld metal (material additional) at the point of bonding, the nature of the forming bonds connection, the type of thermal energy supplied and/or mechanically to create a joint.
Bonded joints – especially welded joints – are characterized by, among others: monolithic, tightness, high strength, low weight, easy to protect against corrosion.
Bonded connections are non-separable. To separate the bonded parts, you must destroy the connecting element (weld, solder, weld).
